I need to get all the eye candy I can now
because soon, too soon it will turn gray.

I love the winter here in New England but after the leaves
fall to the ground everything takes on a gray tone.

Being a mom

You want to be there for your children all the time. But you can't be. They have to do and learn for themselves. My daughter was in an auto accident this morning. She is fine, just one scratch near her eye. But looking at the car you would never guess. Hit in the driver door, but she was safe. I trust in a higher power.

Summer ends and Fall begins with the sedum turning a lovely shade of pink.

Daucus carot, also called Wild Carrot. It is a common plant in dry fields, ditches, and open areas. It was introduced from Europe, and the carrots that we eat today were once cultivated from this plant.

It takes its common name from a British monarch who was adept at lace-making, and the plant's flower certainly is lace-like, resembling an old-fashioned doily.
