Favorite little path.

This is where I enjoy a quick morning walk.
Our neighbor mows this path through his woods.

It's not too long and there are several paths to mix it up.
The birds flit about and chirp a morning welcome.

Neighbors walk their dogs here
and deer and turkeys have also visited.

I enjoy walking but really only when my feet are falling on soft earth.
I dislike paved roads, sidewalks and concrete malls.
I'll take the woods with it's bug any-day.

Mirror image?

These pooches were at the post office and I took a quick shot of them as I was walking by. I had to laugh when I saw the photo. Perfectly mirrored.

Working Dogs Wait Patiently

I have never seen this pair of dogs at the post office before. They are definitely work dogs. Well behaved, no barking and didn't mind a bit if I snapped a few pictures. They share the back of the truck with the tools of their owner but had plenty of room to lay down for a nap.
