My father would have been 75 today. His favorite candy was anything licorice. This whole month of August I've been trying offerings available. Good & Plenty is always a good start.
My grandfather's favorite candy was black licorice. There was an old-fashioned candy store at Knotts Berry Farm in CA & his favorite was the black licorice candy-shaped pipes. I thought they were cool too because while you ate them, you could pretend that you were smoking. I didn't really like to eat them though because the black licorice was really strong. Thanks for bringing back that memory for me.
