| At left cucumbers growing trellis style up an old 6 foot wooden ladder; in front volunteered Sun Gold orange cherry tomatoes with basil and orange beets just ready to harvest; in back four different varieties of heirloom tomatoes and Japanese eggplant. Had to reseed the carrots (lack of rain was a problem) and started the summer squash in a container to see if I could dodge the vine border bugs and have now planted in beds. |
